Compensation Plans

How Does it Work?

Red Robin REALTORS® offers two basic compensation plans.

Plan #A:   85% commission split ($12,000 cap); $70 per month; $275 per transaction after capping; agent pays required FMLS fees*

Plan #B:  100% commission split; $800 per month; agent pays FMLS fees*

*The fine print:  For both plans, agents pay FMLS and any referral fees

What’s Included and What’s Extra?

We offer the basic necessities an agent needs, but we offer plenty of extra resources for modest fees.

Here’s what you get free of charge:

  • Use of Red Robin REALTORS® signature sign panels and wooden, stained posts. (Agents pay for post installation and removal.  Red Robin REALTORS® will cover the cost of post installation for any listings the agent brings upon joining the brokerage.)
  • Introductory box of business cards
  • Balloons and helium
  • Red Robin REALTORS® email address
  • A robust agent web page on the company website that features your listings, client testimonials, blog posts, and more.
  • Featured listings included in company’s weekly electronic marketing campaigns sent to agents and the general public
  • Paperless office with dotloop
  • Organize a number of community events throughout the year that you can attend to build your network
  • Hi-tech intranet system to stay connected, up-to-date and ahead of all REALTOR® related news.

Additional resources available for a modest fee:

  • Lockboxes. May be rented for 6 or 12 months. Three box minimum.
  • Signage.  Yard signs, additional directional signs, toppers and riders. Our marketing coordinator is available to facilitate orders through our preferred vendor as needed.
  • Copies.  $.02 for black and white; $.15 for color.  Small jobs only.  Larger print jobs are outsourced to our print vendor.
  • Marketing and promotional materials.  Purchase as needed, as few or as many as needed
  • Brokerage will subsidize  neighborhood events and festivals that are not already on our marketing calendar. (Agents are expected to pay for some expenses and cover booth staffing).
  • Marketing and Graphic Design. Our marketing specialist can help you build your business on an hourly basis. Whether you need images enhanced with Photoshop, a custom rider designed, or want training on Facebook, we have someone in-house who can help.
  • Listing processing.  There’s no need to outsource or rely on an “admin” to input your listings.  Our full-time listing specialist will assist in entering your listings with the same care and expertise you’ve come to recognize in Red Robin REALTORS® listings.
  • Closing management. Our managing broker properly reviews all contracts.  In addition, a preferred vendor can provide closing management services for agents on a per contract basis.
  • Accounting/bookkeeping.  Bookkeeping, tracking expenses and tax planning is tedious. However, financial management is one of the most important, and most often overlooked, aspects of an agent’s business. Red Robin REALTORS® teams with Sound Business Services and McBride Accounting to provide these additional services.  Fees will vary by agent.
