Chris McGuire
Intown Neighborhood Specialist
Having spent most of my childhood in a renovated Tudor home outside of London, I learned
early on the value of good architecture and developed a life long love of all kinds of homes. I
have spent my life studying, observing and living in unique residences, and have been known to
spend up to an hour just admiring an emotionally moving piece of architecture.
I moved to Atlanta over 30 years ago and have lived within 3 miles of the intersection of Virginia
and Highland ever since. I did not buy a car until my mid thirties and have cycled on nearly
every street in town. I know these neighborhoods intimately, have watched them grow and
change, and love all of them.
From my first career as a touring musician/songwriter, I bring my skills of listening, delivering
what is desired, a strong work ethic, and an understanding that a great experience occurs when
I do my job to the best of my abilities every time. I have traveled all over and can deliver
excellence under any amount of pressure.
My second career engaged these skills, and brought me more. As an agency & film editor, I
had to learn to create emotional experiences desired by my clients for their clients. This required
extreme attention to detail, long hours, constantly learning new software and techniques and
being challenged to make every edit special, purposeful, and a great experience for everyone.
Real Estate brings together my love of the city, of people, and a desire to have a hand in the
future of this city in a very personal way. I am dedicated to advocating for my clients and being
able to help them with any needs they have (even if they are looking for a hairdresser long after
our deal is done). I want to know everything there is to know about my markets, both past,
present and future. I believe my client relationships should be lifelong, founded in trust and
sealed with delivering beyond my client’s expectations.
I have been finding my friends homes long before I got into this business. I love nothing more
than putting the right person in the right home.
