Who is Kurt Gillon?

1150476Kurt Gillon is nationally certified through NASM, the International Sports SciencesAssociation, the National Exercise & Sports Trainers Association and the American Sport and Fitness Association. “Working with special populations is one of the more rewarding aspects of my job,” says Kurt. Kurt is also a nationally recognized speaker in the fitness industry specializing inactive aging training and cancer exercise. He focuses his lectures on these populations because it is vitally important people have a strong working knowledge of training for aging and recovery. Kurt’s passion is helping/aiding others to reach their health, fitness and wellness goals. This starts with our youth and extends to the active aging population.

He is heavily involved in training cancer patients as well as active aging clients. Exercise is essential for a healthy body and mind, our bodies and minds are capable of accomplishing great things and it is his personal charge to bring out the best in every individual he trains, regardless of the goal.    “Working with special populations is one of the more rewarding aspects of my job,” says Kurt.  “As a trainer, it is my job to help enhance my clients’ quality of life by improving their physical function.  Guiding someone on a path that ultimately allows them to lead a better life is an incredible responsibility and a wonderful accomplishment.”
