East Atlanta Village Crowd Sourcing Project Begins!

The Crowd Source project in East Atlanta that began in April 2014, has now gained some major traction and momentum.  According to news sources, a company called Crowd Vested announced that they have officially secured a portion of the funds needed to give this section of the village a brand new look.  The work includes; interior demolition and facade renovations for several of the vacant store fronts to invite new proprietors to town.  You may not have noticed all these vacant units along Glenwood Avenue and Flat Shoals, but you will turn your head twice after the project is complete!  Check out the Rendering below.

The project will focus on these empty buildings by revitalizing them and ultimately filling those spaces with hip restaurants, bars, boutiques and smaller office spaces in the rear of those buildings.  The work is scheduled to begin this week and will continue for the next two to three months.  Paces properties hopes to have every renovated space leased by the end of the year.

What business’s would you like to see fill these spaces in  East Atlanta Village?
