It’s the most wonderful time of the year!

One of my very favorite holiday events in Atlanta is the Grant Park Candlelight Tour of Homes.  Maybe I’m biased because I’m a resident.  But, if you haven’t made this event part of your holiday tradition, make plans to attend this year.

I went to the Tour for the first time about 8 years ago.  I was attending church at St. Paul United Methodist in Grant Park and the Tour is one of their annual fundraisers.  So, I decided to go with one of my girlfriends.  And, I’ve never missed a year since.  There is something so wonderfully special about the historic Grant Park homes, all dressed up for the holidays.  It officially rings in the holidays for me and makes me feel full of the spirit of the season.

More than just a Tour of Homes

If you’re a family, this is a great event — there are lots of activities for kids at Santa’s Workshop and a Caroling Hayride.  Or, if you want to go on a special Date Night with your spouse or significant other, you can go on the Tour and then check out one of the great neighborhood restaurants in Grant Park (the Tour program almost always has a coupon or two!).  Shopping with a friend at the Artist’s Market before going on the Tour is also a special treat.  Once, I even went alone and just quietly appreciated the beautiful homes and chatted with neighbors along the way.

Purchase Discount Tickets at Red Robin Group

Red Robin Group is very proud to sponsor this event again this year.  And, we hope you’ll come to the new office in Ormewood Square (Little Azio, Morelli’s) to pick up discount tickets for only $10 each.  (Get the latest updates on Red Robin Group’s Facebook page.) Tickets will be available on December 1st.

Try Melissa’s Famous Egg Nog after the Tour
