Sat Jan 3rd | Bring One For The Chipper – Grant Park Christmas Tree Recycling Event

chipper-logo-2015

It’s time once again to Bring One for the Chipper! Member of the Grant Park Conservancy and volunteers will be out in the park with the wood chipper on Jan. 3 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. to turn your much-loved (and undecorated) Christmas tree into nourishing mulch for the park.

All you have to do is remove the ornaments, tinsel, lights and any other decorations from your lovely Tannenbaum and bring it to the park during chipper hours.

They’ll be waiting for your tree at the south end of the Boulevard parking lot, near the zoo construction site. The chipper is free, but they will be accepting donations on behalf of the Conservancy.

So don’t forget to Bring One for the Chipper on Saturday morning!
